In August 2005, Rogue Wave Software donated an image of this library to the world software development community through the Apache Software Foundation. This image is currently a project in the Apache incubator called "stdcxx". For more information on the project, visit http://incubator.apache.org/stdcxx.
In Source Pro Edition 9, Rogue Wave continues to offer the commercial version of Rogue Wave C++ Standard Library with full support as in previous releases of Source Pro. Rogue Wave Software will continue to actively develop the C++ Standard Library in cooperation with the Apache open source community. When the stdcxx project graduates from the incubator, Rogue Wave will distribute the Apache code for the C++ Standard Library in SourcePro® Core, but licenses of the SourcePro® C++ product suite will continue to offer full Rogue Wave support of this code, as described in Section 1.8. For more information on Rogue Wave's open source initiatives, visit http://www.roguewave.com/opensource and http://www.roguewave.com/standard-library.
Rogue Wave encourages you to participate in the Apache stdcxx project, where you can discuss the C++ Standard Library with the maintainers of the project, make suggestions for improvements, file bug reports, submit patches with your own changes to the source code, and share your experience with the library with other users. Simply subscribe to the stdcxx project mailing list at http://incubator.apache.org/stdcxx/#lists to capitalize on the expertise of developers using the C++ Standard Library.
You also have the right to use the library according to the provisions of the Apache Software License, Version 2. This license is available at http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.
